Flesh Wound Tattoo by Yo-G Flesh Wound Tattoo by Yo-G
my first flesh wound tattoo.

i did it on the wrist of a friend. i learned how to do these by watching one of my mentors, mike, very closely. it's kind of his forte'.

started with a bloodline and scribbled in lots of reds and texturing, most of the sinewy stuff is detailed with a liner.

took me 3 hours to complete.

let me know what you think!

haha.. i was afraid to make it a bloody mess, i didnt want the blood to cover up too much of the detail in the muscles and tendons. maybe next time i'll do some blood smeared around the outside of the tear.

thanks for the comment!

thank you! it didnt really make sense to me at first but i had a print out of one of mike's previous wound tattoos and followed the pattern. as soon as i put in the base shadows it all came together for me.
